Seed Policy

Seed Policy

We’re a small, family-run business, and we care deeply about your success in the garden. Every variety we offer is tested for germination and labeled in compliance with the Washington State Seed Act. Our seeds are packed with care, and we stand behind their quality.

Germination

If you follow our recommended growing instructions—including proper timing, temperature, soil conditions, watering, and light—you should expect germination rates that match what’s printed on the packet.

That said, growing conditions and climate are out of our control, and many factors—like weather, pests, and watering—can affect performance. If your seeds don’t perform and you’ve followed the instructions, please contact us within 2 weeks of discovering the issue, and within 1 year of purchase. We’ll gladly offer a replacement (if available) or store credit for the value of the seed.

Color or Variety Concerns

Some of the varieties we offer—especially the more unique or handmade mixes—are still a work in progress. They're incredibly special, but not always 100% uniform. You may see the occasional surprise in bloom color or form. If something feels truly off, send us a photo and a short note. We handle these concerns case by case and are always happy to take a look.

Returns

Because seeds are a perishable product, we can only accept returns of unopened packets within 30 days of delivery. If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, please reach out right away so we can make it right.

A Few Final Notes

  • Instructions matter: Our guarantee only applies if you’ve followed the growing guidelines provided.

  • Storage is key: Once your seeds arrive, store them in a cool, dry, and dark place until planting.

  • Limited liability: Our guarantee is limited to the value of the seed purchased. We can’t be responsible for crop failure, loss of income, or any damages beyond the cost of the seeds.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
