Sweet Pea 'Kings High Scent'

Sweet Pea  'Kings High Scent'

Lathyrus odoratus

We haven’t yet found a sweet pea with a more heavenly scent. Just a single stem of this variety is enough to infuse the air with a delightful, crisp fragrance. This particular variety boasts large pure white blooms that fade into blush ruffled edges. With its tall vines and lengthy stems, High Scent makes for an elegant and stunning cut flower.

IMPORTANT GERMINATION NOTE

During our germination testing, we found a higher-than-usual number of seeds with hard seed coats in this year’s crop. For the best results, we strongly recommend scarifying these seeds before sowing. Use nail clippers to remove the tiniest sliver of the seed coat, or rub one small spot with coarse sandpaper, taking care not to damage the inside of the seed.
