How to Grow:

Direct Seed: not recommended


Transplant:   Sow 5-6 weeks before planting outside. Do not cover, but sprinkle with a light dusting of vermiculite as  light aids germination. Harden off plants and transplant out after danger of frost. Note: Providing temperatures of 60°F (16°C) for 1-2 weeks after the seedlings emerge encourages rooting. Direct Seeding is not recommended.

Germination: 5-14 days at 70°F (21°C)

 

Where to plant: 

Plant in full sun. Rich, well-drained soil.

Harvesting/Vase Life:

Fresh or dried: When the individual flowers are mostly open and showing color. Hang to dry.
