Digitalis purpurea
Popular shell-pink color with lightly freckled throats.
This beloved classic produces a profusion of towering stems adorned with shell-pink bells featuring lightly freckled throats, blooming continuously for two months, from late spring through early summer. We often times find bumblebees sleeping in the blooms.
Can be planted in the fall in zones 6-8.
NOTE: Flowering occurs in late spring in the second season of growth.
