2024 Dahlia Tuber Sale Guidelines

Dahlia Tuber Sale Guidelines

2024 Policies for Tuber Shop:

Before proceeding with your purchase from our dahlia sale, kindly review our Tuber Shop Policies thoroughly.

Our 2024 Dahlia Tuber sale is scheduled for Friday, March 29th, starting at 7am PST.

Email Notifications: We will be sending out emails before the sale begins, upon its commencement, and after it concludes. Subscribers to our newsletter will be the first to receive updates on tuber sale, including new varieties, etc. To ensure you receive these notifications, please sign up for our newsletter and add emilie@flowerpeople.com to your preferred sender list. Otherwise, emails may end up in your spam folder.

Inventory: Listings will display as "Sold Out" until the sale begins.

Satisfaction Guarantee: Your support is greatly appreciated, and we want you to be satisfied with your order. We guarantee that our tubers are true to their variety and will arrive with at least one viable eye. Our tubers are stored in a quality-controlled environment. Please inspect your tubers upon receipt and report any concerns via email to emilie@flowerpeople.com within 7 days. While we strive to address any issues promptly, please note that we cannot be held responsible for factors such as improper storage, weather, growing conditions, pest damage, or negligence.

Shipping: Dahlia tubers will be shipped via USPS priority mail within the United States only. Shipments will occur between early and mid-April, once the risk of freezing temperatures has passed. You will receive a notification with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Please note that we cannot guarantee arrival times due to potential USPS delays. Shipping costs $15.

Local Pickup: Local Pickup is scheduled for April 12th, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Please choose this option only if you are available on that date.

Cart: Adding items to your cart does not reserve them. Your order is confirmed only upon checkout, when you receive an order confirmation number and email.

Dahlia Virus: We make efforts to maintain healthy, virus-free plants, but it's important to note that dormant viruses may still be present in tubers.

According to the American Dahlia Society's virus research, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one dormant virus. Unfortunately, it is a common thing in the dahlia world, and we do our best to keep our plants healthy and virus free.

Buyers purchase at their own risk, understanding this information. Refunds for plants displaying viruses are not guaranteed, but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Limit of Liability: Buyers assume all risks associated with purchasing tubers. Once the tuber is past the 7-day mark or planted in the ground, Flower People cannot be held responsible for external factors affecting the plant's health. Refunds, if provided, will not exceed the cost of the tubers themselves.

Payment: We accept most major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay. For a quick checkout experience, consider saving your card information on your device or using Apple Pay or Shop Pay, though note that Shop Pay may require an SMS code at checkout.
