Beautiful filler flower for a bouquet.

White is the new black. This intricate lacy flower is the perfect addition to any cottage garden and bouquet! Also known as white lace flower and Minoan lace.

Can be planted in the fall in zones 6-8.

Indoor & Pots: grows well in large containers outside

 

How to Grow:

Fall planting recommended for zones 5-8. Planting in the Fall allows the plant to establish a robust root system and creates longer stems and stronger plants. 

Direct seed (recommended): Sow seed thinly in rows, covering lightly. Can be Fall or Spring sown.

Transplant: Sow 4-6 weeks before planting outside. When the first true leaves appear transplant into larger containers. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost.

Germination: Direct seed: 12-16 days at 60-65°F. Transplant: 7-14 days at 68-86°F, alternating day and night temperature. Chill seed at 40-45°F for 1-2 weeks prior to sowing in the greenhouse.

Where to plant:  Plant in the sun into well drained soil.

Harvesting/Vase Life: Fresh:Harvest when approximately 80% of the flowers are open. Flowers should be crisp white with no hint of pollen shed. Dried: Once seed pods form.
